Come out to help us celebrate a great night of hockey at the 6th Annual :"Start Talking" Cup on January 9th, 2020 at the Holly Recreation Centre from 6pm to 10:30pm. The night will begin with the AA Barrie Sharks vs.Toronto Leaside Wildcats and then the AAA Minor Midget Barrie Colts vs. the Orillia North Central Predators. These games will highlight some of the best hockey players in our area and make a significant contribution to expanding the reach of our mental health awareness efforts.
$600,000 is the number to make this happen! Our Youth Mental Health Centre is good, but could be better with your help. The launch of the “Youth Shine” Campaign will make our centre more inviting and able to offer additional resources for our youth and families. Help us make our new youth mental health centre a reality.
Alex arrived in Barrie at the age of 18 where she moved 7 times in a year and a half. During this time she tended to isolate in her apartment leaving only to go to school where she was upgrading her courses to start the nursing program at Georgian College.
